Want to protect yourself, your kids, and your computer from the dangers inherent with today’s technologies?  Lisa Palmer, Dean of Corporate and Continuing Education at Tulsa Community College, will educate us on best practices to safeguard ourselves and our families from potentially harmful situations that arise from online transactions.  Her presentation will address:

·       How to leverage privacy settings, free online security and anti-malware tools
·       How to avoid scams and prevent spyware from endangering your online identity
·       What behaviors put you at heightened risk for identity theft
·       How to safely use mobile devices (smart phones, iPads, tablets, etc.)
·       How to protect our children from online risks

The luncheon will be held OSU-Tulsa in North Hall, Room 150.  The luncheon starts at 11:30 AM and will conclude by 1:00 PM.  

Reservations are required.  You may respond to this email or call the LT office at 918-477-7079 to make your reservation.  If you respond via email and you do not receive confirmation, please call the office.  The cost to attend the luncheon is $20 for dues payers and $25 for non-dues payers.  (Dues payers who pay at the $250 level or above may attend the monthly leadership meetings free of charge.)   Payments can be made online or at the door.  We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards.
