Celebrating Difference: Diversity Training for the Next Century

Key to leadership success in our changing world is the ability to deal constructively on an interpersonal level with cultural diversity and a multitude of diverse attitudes and values. Join Tamara Lebak and Carmen White Janak as they share their lens of understanding diversity through the developmental model of intercultural competency.   This half day workshop has been re-worked into a luncheon presentation in order to accommodate the schedules of our busy members.

Tamara Lebak
is a consultant and executive coach who integrates her training in Gestalt Organization and Systems Development, conflict management ,appreciative inquiry, intercultural competency and community organizing in order to increase clients' awareness of the choices before them. She has worked with local and national clientele including: Oklahoma Center for Community Justice, YMCA Tulsa, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, National Park Service, and the World Bank AFTEG- AFT Africa Energy. Tamara is a Leadership Tulsa Class 40 graduate and is currently in North Tulsa Development Council Class 3.

Carmen White Janak, Lead Trainer for Celebrating Difference,LLC.  brings many years of service and experience in diverse capacities. Academically, Carmen has experience lecturing in Women’s Studies and Racial issues at the collegiate level.  Professionally, she has worked for the United States Air Force, been employed by small and large corporations and administered programs in the City with Camp Fire Green Country Council.  She has also served on numerous local boards and coalitions to better the quality of life for the disfranchised.Carmen brings a richness of connecting with people and possesses a definite skill-set in bridging cross-cultures.
